    Description: House. C15, C16, C17, C18, with C20 restoration. Walls have massive exposed framing, indicating several phases of construction: part of the lower wall has close studding with flint infill, other parts have brick infill: the lower wall at the north end is of flint work with brick dressings, at the west end is a section of ashlar chalkstone with brick dressings. Thatched roof, hipped at the east end, 1/2-hipped at the west with a catslide above a (C20) rear outshot; shafted stack. A medieval timber-framed hall, with C16 and C17 timber-framed extensions, with inserted late Tudor fireplaces (and 1st floor to part), and recladding and west end extension of the C18. North front of 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Casements, 2 old openings with diagonal oak mullions, and an oriel of 5 lights, on 3 brackets. C20 1/2-timbered porch with a gabled tile roof. Interior: exposed framework and 2 Tudor fireplaces, with chamfered bressumers.
