    Description: The final stage of the archaeological survey of the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) was carried out in 2006. This work followed on from previous programmes of research in 1995, 2003 and 2005. A number of known archaeological sites were recorded. In addition, several new sites were discovered. The full report detailing this work is held in the back-up file for Monuid 60110.

    Description: (1) Cross-dyke first noted by Aubrey C17. 'Double bivallate' on valley floor, but separates into two single bivallates on NW slope. On NW side of road 7 1/2 ft from top of bank to bottom of ditch, 120 ft wide, on SE side only 1- 2 ft high. Iron Age pottery picked out of bank (SU63SE10B). (2) Now completely levelled to west of road, but as described to E (1968).
