Rights of Way Search


Type in a location, search by:

  • Post code
  • Street name (you may need to specify by adding the town name e.g. High Street, Winchester, otherwise too many records will be returned)
  • Grid reference ( acceptable formats: 45000,116000 or SU46NE or SU4116)
  • Rights of way
  • Countryside sites

The location search is restricted to Hampshire only, while grid references are restricted to the Hampshire County extent.

If more than one location is found, select the location from the drop down list and click the Find Rights of Way button to search for Rights of Way.

Rights of Way within a 200m square of the centre of the location selected will be displayed.

A message is displayed if no records are found in a location.

To view the definitive map click on the map and in the Identify Results scroll down the list till you find the Definitive Map Sheets entry and click on the Web Link: Definitive Rights of Way Map. This will open the Definitive Rights of Way Map in a new browser window.



To find a specific right of way please type as follows: Wield. 17 (alternatively just write the parish name e.g. Wield) and click 'find location'. The map will automatically zoom to the route if only one is found, otherwise please select one from the drop down list below.
